Many of us in Maine have stories about our best adventures in and around the town of Rangeley. Snow-capped mountains, tree-lined and rocky trails, steep slopes, ice falls, and frigid lakes serve as inspiration for our Rangeley Glove. Crafted with devotion just minutes from Maine's Acadia National Park and influenced by the heart of Maine's untamed wilderness, these gloves embody the spirit of explorers who came before us and those we aspire to become.

Care Instructions

Rangeley gloves can be machine washed. For best results, we suggest placing them in a mesh garment washing bag to prevent inversion of the inner and outer components.

Use a gentle washing cycle and warm water (not hot water). Do not use harsh detergents or bleach, instead we recommend using a detergent specifically designed for technical fabrics, such as SPORT-WASH. Air dry by standing the gloves or mitts on their gauntlets or hanging them by the front tips.

Built to Withstand

Goat leather palm and fingers provide incredible dexterity without sacrificing durability. Nylon and Spandex combine with leather to form an outer layer that is weather resistant, light, and moves with the action of your hand. An interior Gore-Tex liner keeps your hands dry from the outside while allowing them to breathe - even during strenuous activity. Moisture-wicking Polartec® power grid™ and Featherless 3M Thinsulate keep your hands warm, manage moisture, and provide antimicrobial protection. When the temperature drops and you still need precision and grip, the Rangeley Glove is a great partner.

A person giving a thumbs up in a pair of gloves.

Warm & Flexible

These gloves are designed and built to keep your hands comfortable and dry, even in the face of blinding snow and penetrating dampness. Our unique combination of insulating materials ensures the mitt defends against moisture while allowing perspiration to escape, preventing that dreaded clammy feeling that often accompanies intense activity. This glove doesn’t get in the way when you need to handle tools or rope to prep a sled with the skill of a seasoned mountaineer. Your fingers stay warm and dry, ready to ascend or descend the next pitch, enjoy a mellow ski through the trees, adjust your boots, focus your camera lens, or grab your water bottle. The Rangeley Gloves let you retain your natural touch and freedom of movement - even in fiercely cold winter weather.

Excellent quality

Good fit and flexibility. Weather has been too warm to test the cold temperature comfort range.

These gloves are a testimony to craftsmanship at its finest!! I bought them for my husband as a gift for Valentine’s Day, and he absolutely loves them! While he hadn’t had the chance to put them to the test, we both know that they’ll hold up against any type of weather and activity. Thank you Mainers for making such an exceptional product.
