Ok but expected better

Purchased these gloves to replace a set of Hestras. Based on marketing hype, on-line reviews and social media posts, I expected the gloves to be stellar performers. Well not so much.
The gloves fall short in warmth.
Used them on several recent NH ski days with temps in the teens and windy. Hands/fingers got cold in a short period of time, an unpleasant surprise. Gloves should be fine for warmer (above 20F) days, but would not recommend for days in the teens or lower.
The gloves are well constructed, comfortable and made in the US (a plus). They allow for good finger dexterity, much better than Hestra's. This is important to me, otherwise would have gone with mittens. The larger cuffs do keep out blowing snow.

Wish I had them sooner

These are great gloves. A couple of things.... Delivery took forever because USPS sat on them for over a week at one of their Regional Distribution Centers. I did let the folks at Mainers know and they offered to send me another set if these didn't show up! Once I got them.... WOW. I had the Mainers mitts (until my son got a hold of them) and I can honestly say that these are as warm as the mitts. If you opt for the wax canvas and leather like I did, get a good wax cream for them. It will keep them water resistant and supple. Let them air dry, don't throw them on a heater. You'll wreck them. Always remember, take care of your equipment today and it will take care of you tomorrow.

Great gloves

I have circulation problems in n my hands that result in considerable pain in my fingers in cold weather. I am always looking for gloves that will keep my hands warm and prevent the usual pain.
Although a bit pricey, these gloves are well made and are worth it. I am totally satisfied and highly recommend the brand.
